My First Digital Camera

I’m thinking of getting a digital camera for a long time but I don’t get one until yesterday. The problem is that which digital camera I should buy. There are innumerable cameras in the market currently. I must admit that I haven’t a clue to choose one! Finally, after long time search, I made up my mind. Canno A610 is very fortunate to be my first digital camera. I have searched much info about this camera on Internet for a couple of weeks, so it only took me about 15 minutes to buy the camera in Xujiahui. Because of the last experience of buying digital goods in Xujiahui, the goods there are a bit expensive. I was planned to buy it on Internet. But it seems that the digital camera is an exception and I cancelled the original plan.

I have been messing around with it for a couple of hours last night and just have to say, “It doesn’t disappoint me at all and it is very suitable for the person like me who is not a professional photographer.” Although I don’t need tons of features, I like taking photos recording interesting in my life so I like the camera has manual features for the moments that I want to set some shooting parameters.

After testing it a whole day, I think I have made a right decision. The picture quality is amazing, the clips are beautiful and the record procdure is extremely fast. Look at the picture taken by this small camera.

The moment I bought this camera, Canno also gave me a charger toolkit. In addition, I also bought a 512M SD card, a tripod and a Canno camera bag. The total price is RMB 2360. Not cheap also not expensive, I think. I don’t want to waste too much time on bargaining.
P.S. Do you know why Xujiahui called Xujiahui? Well, I also just know it today when I walk through the Caoxi Road near the centre of Xujiahui. I used my new bought camera and took the following picture to tell you the answer. Once there is a Shanghainese called Xu Guangqi lived around the place now called Xujiahui. The name Xujiahui means the place where his descendants lived togather in Chinese.

At first, I was also want to buy A610, but its lens is from 35 to 135mm (am I right) and a little heavy and the turnable LED, so I chose another one.
