First trip to okinawa is in winter. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, so I could not get some good photos of the sea. However, the Shisa （シーサー）, the traditional Ryukyuan decoration, can be seen everywhere. Shisa is believed to protect from evils in Okinawa. Shisa to me, it’s more like a smaller version of the Chinese guardian lions. Some photos that I am happy with are here.
