Yesterday, I took Jessica to the new opened Shanghai Madame Tussaud's. Madame Tussaud's famous waxworks exhibition was originally established in Paris in 1770 and moved to London in 1802. The Shanghai branch is located on the 10th floor of the New World Department Store on Nanjing Road. It is not a surprise that the place we visited yesterday is very crowded. After waiting in a line for a ticket for about half an hour, finally we got into this legendary wax museum.
The place was amazing. I have never been to such a wax museum before. The only pity is that the crowd people make me very uncomfortable. I think you’d better choose a normal day to pay a visit to it rather a vacation such as May 1st. The exhibit presents about 75 wax figures initially, and will add more in its 2nd and 3rd phases. I took pictures with people I wouldn’t be able to meet in my lifetime. Look, my picture with Jackie Chan. Haha, Hope it won’t confuse you much because some status is really lifelike.

I’ve sang with Hong Kong pop music band Twins there. But I think the Twins’ status is not enough vivid. I’ve shaken hands with Bill Clinton. I’ve played basketball with Jordan... Don’t believe it? You can find the evidential pictures in my photo gallery. And the happiest thing to me is Jessica accompanied with me.
BTY, the Adult ticket cost 125 RMB (15.6 USD). Although it’s a little expensive, the museum that day was still very crowed and hard to take a high quality picture.

Thanks for the post. I had no idea Madame Tussaud's was opening up in Shanghai! I will definitely have to stop in the next time I visit. A 30-minute wait actually isn't too bad. From what I've heard, it's not unusual to have to wait an hour or more at the London location.

charmy samaniego,
which country are you from? Did you meant to invite the people called madame tussauds? If so, I am sorry, you can't do that now.
Madame Tussauds now represents a world-renowned institution that is derived from the home of Madame Tussauds in 1835. The current wax museum is opened by her successor.
There six branches in the world now: London, New York, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Shanghai. You can reach more info from the official site: http://www.madame-tussauds.com
