For years I’ve stick on my IE (Microsoft’s Internet Explorer) since I had my own personal computer. But my love for the past faded when I met Firefox. Thanks to my mentor Daniel who introduced Emacs and also Mozilla Firefox to me. But, I guess most of my friends and many people in China are still using IE or other IE core browsers such as Maxthon. But today I want to tell you that it’s time to say goodbye to IE because a much better browser is ready for you.
Tremendous extensions in Firefox will help you to do everything you can image such as reading weather forecast, emails, restore the web page you read last time, tab browsing, fast blogging, fast download…so much that I cannot list of them here! For more information refer to the extension website. Firefox has much better security, so your computer will get hacked less. The download manager provides a tabular view of all of the files that you have ever downloaded, allowing you to open them without having to search around on your file system. It provides progress indicators in the window as items download. (I haven’t use Flashget for a long time) The profile including your favorite sites, plugins… could easily backup while you reinstall your system. View the syntax coloured source of a page, without having to view it in Notepad. ...................................
There are so many. Check this article “101 things that the Mozilla browser can do that IE cannot” for detail. Even, the designers of Internet Explorer themselves had switched to Firefox. Before you start, you may worry about your "favourites site list" in IE will be lost if using this new Browser. But it's a redundant worry, since Firefox will ask you whether you want import your favourites into Firefox or not. OK, why not download it and have a try?
